Bibliotheek Galibi

"Books are welcome in the village. We have space on board our boat to transport these books to Galibi", says Wijnberg Tokoe, owner of Myrysji Tours Suriname. Bibliotheek Galibi was founded on May 29, 2010 by Jennifer Gangaram, a vigilant young woman whose heart goes out to the people of Galibi. Every school holiday she heads out to Galibi with her team for educational activities.

Employees of Myrysji Tours aware of a clean environmental

GALIBI - Employees of Myrysji Tours were trained in environmental awareness aspects by Stichting Samarja. They received information about separation of waste on the work floor. This has led to installation of special net bags around the Myrysji Lodge in Galibi. Today, all plastic bottles and tin cans are collected in these bags.
